Pay via PayPal/USDC; CoinCard mints a $1,000 stablecoin-backed token onto your card.
STEP B
Transfer token
Send it card-to-card. Off-ledger, one card at a time.
STEP C
Cash out token
The bearer of the card redeems it; CoinCard pays out of the vault.
Play the story
Alice buys a $1,000 token, sends it to Bob, and Bob cashes out at CoinCard. Each token is fully backed by stablecoin in the reserve.
CoinCard reserve (stablecoin backing)
You cannot issue more than the reserve covers. Redemption pays out of the reserve — the token is a bearer claim on it.

Step B — peer to peer
Card sequence: VERIFY_PIN → PERMIT_TRANSFER → INIT_SESSION → EXTRACT_TOKEN → DEPOSIT_TOKEN → CONFIRM_DELIVERY. No ledger moves — only CoinCard cards work.
